But none of this is possible without the support of our donors.

As a clinical trial participant, Kristi Robertson knows better than most how critical research can be.

“In April last year I was diagnosed with pancreatic  cancer, with secondaries on the liver. At best, I had six months to live. The first lot of chemotherapy didn’t work. And the second lot gave me horrific reactions. I had no choice but to stop. When we heard about the trial, we were ecstatic. The mutation in my cancer cells is very rare, and this trial targets those specific mutations.

“So far, it’s been incredibly promising. My tumour markers have dropped significantly and I feel a lot better. As long as it’s working, I can have the treatment. Cabrini has been incredible and I couldn’t ask for anything better. I now have hope for my future.”
