She has more than twenty years’ experience in the non-profit sector in Australia and the UK, with a focus on healthcare, children, and medical research. Megan most recently worked as Head of Partnerships & Philanthropy for Cancer Council Victoria and previously as Head of Fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support, London, UK.
Megan is passionate about collaborating with supporters on causes and initiatives that are closest to their hearts and is proud to be working with the Foundation team as we grow our community of supporters who are investing in the future of Cabrini.
Susie Santilli CFRE

She is passionate about the impact that philanthropy can have on improving the care of all Cabrini patients now and in to the future.
Having personally experienced exceptional care at Cabrini, Susie is committed to helping make a difference to patients and staff across Cabrini.
Sally Cane CFRE
Associate Director – Philanthropy

Sally most recently worked as the Head of Philanthropy and Fundraising at Snowdome Foundation, and prior to this held fundraising positions at the Leukaemia Foundation, Monash University and at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research.
With a Bachelor of Biological Science, Sally began her career as a cancer researcher at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute. Sally’s strong background of over twenty years working in the health and medical research sector, along with personally experiencing the exceptional care at Cabrini underpin her passion for working with Cabrini’s supporters to continue to make a difference to patients and their families.
Elizabeth Lim
Philanthropy Manager

She has more than 15 years of relationship management experience and serves as an exceptional conduit between the technical realm and how powerful the impact of philanthropy is on our community and loved ones. Elizabeth’s role at Cabrini focuses on enhancing major gifts to meet future clinical demands and move Cabrini into our “Next Era” of development. She is a warm-hearted and motivated advancement professional who delivers a wealth of experience from a broad range of sectors including higher education as a trusted philanthropic advisor, an educator and scientist. A clinical biochemist, Elizabeth is passionate about the life-changing and transformative nature of healthcare.
Bronwyn Sugden
Donor Relations Manager - Bequests

Bronwyn is a warm, personable relationship manager who excels at cultivating long term supporter relationships.
With over 20 years in the not-for-profit family and community services sectors, Bronwyn looks forward to creating the Cabrini Society and feels honoured to hear about the lives of those who choose to leave a legacy and their hopes for the future.
Silke Nixon
Donor Relations Manager

For over 15 years, Silke has devoted herself to the not-for-profit sector, most recently in community relations roles with Blue Light Victoria, Beyond Blue, Sacred Heart Mission and Cancer Council.
Silke joined the Foundation team in August 2024. Out of hours, Silke is studying to be a Doula and is passionate about empowering women to have the pregnancy, birth and postpartum experience of their dreams.
Kate Nixon
Events and Partnerships Manager

Kate thrives on developing strong strategic relationships and partnerships within the extended Cabrini community, has strong project management skills and is passionate about community engagement and facilitating support for those in need.
Previously, Kate worked in sports administration in various roles; Corporate Sales Manager at the Australian Open Tennis Championships, held various roles at the Melbourne Racing Club and was Sponsorship Manager at Aviva when they were the AO Ballkids Sponsor.
Kate loves speaking French whenever she can.
Priyanka Willis
Trusts and Foundations Manager

Priyanka’s role at Cabrini Foundation involves maintaining and managing internal and external relationships to ensure philanthropic gifts are delivered and received in a positive and reciprocal manner whilst being at the core of the organisations needs.
Mandy Baigel
Individual Giving Manager

Mandy has experience in direct marketing, data analysis, research and reporting within not-for-profit and local government sectors. Mandy has recently held fundraising positions at The Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health, Hadassah Australia and Spiritgrow.
Mandy and her family have experienced the excellent care given at Cabrini and Mandy is thrilled to be in a role where she can positively contribute towards ensuring that all patients receive the best care with state-of-the-art equipment and resources.
Carmen Covalschi
Donor Database Manager

Carmen is passionate about working with database systems and finding ways to improve business processes. Carmen is keen to contribute to the data analysis and reporting needs of the Cabrini Foundation and to extend the database functionality used within the Cabrini Foundation.

Naomi Pizzo
Communications & Engagement Manager

Naomi is a philanthropic relationships and communications professional with more than twenty years’ experience across community and women’s health organisations. Naomi recently held fundraising and Foundation positions with The King David School, Emmy Monash and the Jewish Museum of Australia.
At Cabrini, Naomi is seeking to bring her experience to support donor communications and connection in recognition of the extraordinary contribution Cabrini is making to healthcare for all Victorians.
Melissa Galbraith
Maternity Leave
Melissa joined Cabrini Foundation in 2019 and is our Donor Relations Manager. Melissa is currently on Maternity Leave.
With her personable and authentic approach, Melissa thrives on cultivating relationships with our community of supporters to connect their gifts of gratitude to projects requiring support around the hospital.
With a long family connection to Cabrini Hospital, Melissa is passionate about making a positive contribution to the community through the power of philanthropy.

Sylvia Falzon
Sylvia holds a senior executive career in financial services, spanning more than 30 years. As a non-executive director since 2010, Sylvia has experience across a range of sectors including aged care, financial services, health and retail. During this time, she has been involved in several business transformations, initial public offers, mergers and acquisitions, and divestment activities.
Sue Williams
Sue was appointed Chief Executive of Cabrini Australia in December 2019. She has more than 25 years’ experience in the healthcare industry at senior management level in both the public and private sectors. She has held various roles including the Director of Nursing at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, Chief Operating Officer of 44 hospitals at Healthscope and Chief Executive Officer at Peninsula Health. Sue originally trained as a nurse and has postgraduate qualifications in business management and a Master of Business Administration from Monash University. She has completed an Advanced Management Program at Harvard University and the Australian Institute of Company Directors course. She joined Cabrini as Chief of Health Operations in October 2017.
Prof Mark Frydenberg AM
Professor Mark Frydenberg AM is a leading urologist at Cabrini hospital specialising in urological oncology, prostate disease and general urology. Offering surgical and medical therapies to patients for genitourinary conditions, he continues to share a passion for research both locally and internationally ensuring his patients have access to the best medical technology.
Urological cancers account for the most common male malignancies in Australia and the second leading cause of male cancer deaths, numbering approximately 3500 deaths per year amongst Australian men. As Cabrini has the greatest number of prostate cancer diagnoses of any institution both public and private in Victoria, Prof Frydenberg works closely with Cabrini Foundation and our philanthropic supporters so that Cabrini can consistently invest and innovate to ensure it remains at the cutting-edge of medical practice.
Francis Galbally
Francis Galbally has over 35 years’ experience in international business and commercial law. He is a graduate (first class honours) in Law at Melbourne University and worked in a professional legal practice for 15 years, specialising in business law. He was a partner in the leading law firm Galbally & O’Bryan during which time he successfully led a number of landmark commercial litigation cases.
Mr Galbally is an investor and corporate advisor and is the major shareholder and chairman of Southbank Capital Pty Ltd. AFSL 343678. Southbank specialises in the technology, environment, food, mining and energy sectors.
In his role as a corporate advisor Mr Galbally has been engaged in the restructuring of many Australian small cap publicly listed companies. He has an extensive global business network and has acted as an advisor to local and overseas government agencies and business enterprises.
Di McDonald
Di McDonald has an extensive background, and formal qualifications, in business development and management in the healthcare and occupational health fields, and in alternative dispute resolution specialising in mediation, facilitation and conflict coaching. She has demonstrated leadership skills with over 35 years in senior leadership roles including at Managing Director and CEO level in privately owned and publicly listed organisations, as well as executive and non-executive positions on boards and advisory boards. She is currently Chair of the Melbourne City Mission Board, Chair of LACW (Law and Advocacy Centre for Women), Non-Executive Director of the Hester Hornbrook Academy, and on the Advisory Board of Psychology Melbourne.
Di’s qualifications include M.Mgt. (Organisational Systems); B.App.Sc (Speech Pathology); Grad. Dip. Education; Grad. Dip. Rehabilitation; Grad. Dip. Bus. Mgt.; MAICD.
Paul Holyoake
Paul was co-founder of Oakton Limited, which grew into one of the largest and most successful Australian IT Consulting and Technology organisations. Paul drove the growth of the company through CEO and Executive Chairman roles, including listing the company on the ASX in 2000 and selling the company to NTT in 2014.
Since leaving Oakton, Paul has been involved in the contemporary ICT community, both through membership of the Advisory Board of Melbourne Accelerator Program (University of Melbourne), and the Tech Start Up community in inner Melbourne. Paul also has philanthropic roles in the not-for-profit sector, including being a past Board member of the St Vincent’s Institute of Medical Research, and is a strong supporter of The Melbourne Indigenous Transition School (MITS).
Paul is a member of the Cabrini Technology Group Advisory Board and the Cabrini Foundation Board.
