Internationally renowned pianist Alan Kogosowski will play an exclusive concert in March to raise funds for Cabrini oncology services.
Born in Melbourne and touring from the age of thirteen, Alan has played across Europe, America and London, becoming a favourite of the Royal Family, in particular Princess Diana and the Queen Mother. He has presented prestigious series of concerts at Sotheby’s in London, restored and orchestrated major works for piano and orchestra by Chopin and Rachmaninoff, produced a television series on the life and music of Frederic Chopin, and written important books on Chopin and the art of the piano.
Alan has given of his energies on behalf of various charities at home and abroad, and was awarded a medal from the Vatican in 1999 for his many concerts in London on behalf of charitable causes.
As a mark of his deep appreciation to Cabrini for the care he has received recently, Alan will give a special concert on Saturday 14 March to raise funds for Cabrini oncology services. The concert will be preceded by canapés and sparkling wine and followed by tea and coffee.
